Better Blogs

This section used to be called “Lost in the Supermarket”. I called it that because I was listening to The Clash at the time and I owed a friend a favour for putting me on her blogroll. I’m pretty sure naming a section of your blog after a Clash song is almost as sad as trying to explain why you might have done so. Oh God, I’m stuck now. Anyway, this explains the photo of a pretty girl (who is my sister) pretending to eat a massive packet of spaghetti. Well, sort of. Life’s a riot round my way.

Should you ever find yourself in need of digital sustenance, here are some fun blogs I can recommend in earnest:

My translation teacher’s fim-mapping project- http://www.thecinetourist.net/

My friend Bethany’s razor-sharp fashion blog- http://archedeyebrow.blogspot.com/

Future mogul Maks Fus Mickiewicz’s super-chic magazine T-R-E-M-O-R-S. I write for it, but don’t let that put you off.

Notable Brixtonian Ferdinand Saumarez-Smith’s art school-enforced site- http://artdecodildo.blogspot.com/

The internet presence of the wonderful Coracle Press- http://www.coracle.ie/

The campaign to save the West Kensington & Gibbs Green Estates from demolition in the wake of the new Earls’ Court development.

Southwarknotes, a blog about often corrosive developments in South London

And, of course, the most entertaining thing on the internet, Andrew Bulhak’s hilarious Post-Modernism Generator

… finally, my friend John Eden’s fanclub is in desperate need of attention. I can only beseech you to visit it; http://riversofjohneden.wordpress.com/
